Tonight the 50th CMA Awards took place live from Nashville and 50 years of Country Music was well represented! The show opened with a great mix of country’s greats including Charlie Pride, Alabama, Alan Jackson and the newest inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame: Randy Travis and Charlie Daniels. Dolly Parton was presented with the “Willie Nelson Life Time Achievement Award”, Kenny Chesney received the “Pinnacle Award”, and of course some all star collaborations including Chris Stapleton with Dwight Yoakam, George Strait with Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn with Jason Aldean and a surprise performance Beyonce with The Dixie Chicks!
