A two-vehicle accident led to the death of a 16-year-old Charleston girl near Old State Road and Lerna Road, east of Mattoon. Authorities say 16-year-old Jordan Holly died at the scene after colliding with a dump truck. A passenger in Holly’s vehicle was airlifted from the scene. According to the Charleston Community School District 1, staff and parents will be at the Carl Sandburg Elementary School and Charleston High School Media Center tomorrow at 9:00am.
