Mattoon Police arrested Chelsea C. Lee, 41 of Terre Haute, IN, for the offenses of Battery, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Criminal Damage to Property. The arrest occurred on 12/27/17 in the 800 block of N. 20th Street in Mattoon. The charges allege during an argument, Ms. Lee struck another female in the head with a glass container, and then kicked in a bedroom door at the same location. During the arrest of Ms. Lee, she was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine. Ms. Lee was taken to the Coles County Safety and Detention Center.
