According to a press release from the Mattoon Police Department, MPD arrested Amanda M. Mitchell, 35 years of age of Mattoon, for the offense of Criminal Trespass and felony Criminal Damage to property. The arrest occurred on 1/6/18 at 5:05pm at the Mattoon Police Department.
The charges allege that on 12/31/17, Ms. Mitchell trespassed upon property of a past landlord, where she hadn’t resided since 2015, and while trespassing there, damaged multiple items totaling over $500.
Ms. Mitchell was taken to the Coles County Jail.
