This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for: Champaign-Christian-De Witt-Douglas-Logan-Macon-McLean-Moultrie- Piatt-Sangamon and Shelby counties
…DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY…
DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT… Areas of dense fog will continue through morning today. Additional areas of fog may form again tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY…
Rain will turn to a mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow Thursday evening as a cold front pushes across the area. Snow will likely end by late Friday morning, although additional light snow may continue at times Friday into Saturday morning. Snow and ice accumulations are expected to be under 2 inches and a tenth of an inch, respectively.
There will be another chance for measurable snow Sunday night into Monday.
Wind chill temperatures will be as low as 5 to 15 degrees below zero at times Sunday through Tuesday.

Snow and ice accumulations will likely be light, but some potential remains for significant accumulations depending on the exact track of this evolving storm system.
