Former U Of I Student Sues To Get Paid
(Urbana, IL) — A former University of Illinois student is suing to get his share of the money he says the school made from student workers. The unnamed student filed a lawsuit that claims the Illinois Business Consulting Center takes advantage of students. The center pairs businesses with students to work on real world projects, university officials say that’s what makes the program so popular. The lawsuit says if the school is paid for the work, then students should be paid as well.
