According to a press release from the MPD, Mattoon Police arrested Ashton A. Eady, 28 years of age of Harvey, IL, for four counts of Forgery. The arrest occurred on 1/9/18 at 6:50pm in the 1300 block of Charleston Ave in Mattoon.
The charges allege Ms. Eady traveled from Chicago to Mattoon Walgreens and CVS on 1/9/18, and attempted to get a fake prescriptions filled at each location. Investigation revealed Ms. Eady had done this same thing at Mattoon CVS and Walmart on 1/6/17.
Ms. Eady was taken to the Coles County Jail for all four counts.
