Mattoon Middle School Principal Jeremie Smith has accepted the position as principal at Fisher Middle School in Greenville, South Carolina.  Smith, who has served at MMS since 2008, was named Illinois Middle School Principal of the Year in 2013, and under his leadership, Mattoon Middle School was named a national “School to Watch.”  Smith will take over at Fisher Middle School in July of this year.
