…Heavy Rainfall and Flooding Potential Friday through Saturday…

The heaviest rainfall is expected Friday night and Saturday which would produce the highest likelihood of flooding over this area.
Although some uncertainty remains in amounts and location of the heaviest rainfall, there is a high likelihood of heavy rainfall in the region. Flooding of low-lying and poorly drained areas, as well as low water crossings, will be possible. Significant river flooding problems may develop especially in southeast Illinois.
