Bulls Set To Hire Nuggets GM As New Top Basketball Executive
(Chicago, IL) — The Bulls are finalizing a deal with Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas [[ ar-ter-us kar-nee-sha-vuss ]] to become their new top basketball executive. ESPN reports Karnisovas will be tasked with hiring a new GM and reshaping the front office. The Bulls offered him the job last night. Karnisovas is leaving Denver after helping rebuild the Nuggets into a Western Conference contender. His hiring is part of a reshuffle of the Bulls front office from John Paxson and Gar Forman. Paxson will reportedly step down from his position of vice president of basketball operations into an advisor role or leave the organization altogether. Forman is expected to be replaced as GM.
