Welcome Back! We’ve Missed You!
Thursday, June 4, 2020, Ed Dowd, Executive Director of the Mattoon Chamber of Commerce was a guest on 101.3 WMCI. At the the bottom of the page you can listen to the entire interview. Here is a brief description of what he covered during the interview:
#1 Welcome Back Sign: Please look for the “Welcome Back! We’ve missed you” starburst sign to identify Chamber Members who have recently reopened. This includes small business retailers, Salons, and restaurants that are able to have outside dining. We will be providing to other members who are able to open fully in phase 4.

#2 I would like to thank all the community members and the Mattoon Police Department who participated in a peaceful protest in support of the memory of George Floyd. Our local businesses need the community support now more than ever and peacefully protesting gives these businesses the opportunity to continue to serve our wonderful community! Shop Local!
