Former Illinois Governor Gets Early End To Supervised Release
(Springfield, IL) — Former Governor Rod Blagojevich is getting an early end to his supervised release. A federal judge announced yesterday that his two-year supervised release was being ended. His 14-year prison sentence was commuted by former President Trump last year. The 64-year-old was sent to prison for corruption after authorities say he tried to sell Barack Obama’s old Senate seat.
