The Mattoon Area Family YMCA and Neal Center YMCA in Toledo will host a 9/11 memorial stair climb on September 11th from 7:00 to 5:00. You’ll climb the equivalent of 110 flights of stairs, which is the same as the first responders did at the World Trade Center. It’s open to non-members as well, but you will need to call 217-234-9494 to reserve a one-hour time slot on a stair-climber. You can also secure a spot on the YMCA app.
