Tenille Townes will head out on her first headlining Canadian run, called The Girl Who Didn't Care Tour, beginning on December 2nd in London, ON. The eight market trek will bring Tenille to Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Winnipeg, among others.
Tenille's tour name is borrowed from her current single, “Girl Who Didn’t Care,” which was released in June. The song is a Top 20 hit at Canadian Country radio and climbing.
In other Tenille news, the CMA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Country Music Association, has announced that she is the newest CMA Foundation Artist Ambassador. In her new role as a CMA Foundation Artist Ambassador, Tenille will visit Stewarts Creek Middle School in Smyrna, TN and Isaiah T. Creswell Middle Magnet School of the Visual and Performing Arts in Nashville, as well as two additional elementary schools in nearby Coffee County. Through these visits and other programming, the CMA Foundation aims to engage, equip, and empower both students and educators through the healing power of music.
