Congresswoman Miller’s Statement on President Biden Remarks

Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) issued the below statement following President Biden’s remarks.

“President Biden is viciously dividing Americans after his false promise of unity, and his message today reveals his campaign pledge to ‘shut down the virus, not the economy’ was a lie,” Miller said. “He did not address natural immunity once or admit that hospital staff shortages are being caused by vaccine mandates placed on doctors and nurses who recovered from COVID naturally.”

“Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris said, ‘we didn’t see Delta coming’ and ‘we didn’t see Omicron coming,’ after an entire 2020 campaign promising that they would be experts on defeating COVID. In a shocking apology for China’s communist government, Vice President Harris said, ‘it’s no one’s fault’ that COVID spread from Wuhan, China, the location of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, to the rest of the world. The greatest hypocrisy of the Biden-Harris Administration is a wide open southern border where hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals are crossing with zero testing and vaccine requirements.”
