A Mattoon man was killed in a crash on Route 45 last night. According to the Illinois State Police, a tow truck driven by 51-year-old Wes Doty of Mattoon turned left into the path of a motorcycle driven by 69-year-old Michael McKenna. McKenna was airlifted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Doty was cited for failure to yield and driving out of classification.
