Arthur CUSD 305 proposition to issue $30,600,000 school building bonds. With 64% of the precincts reporting the no votes lead the yes votes, 73% to 27%.
Moultrie County Clerk & Recorder Republican Nomination: With 16 of 16 precincts reporting, Linda Qualls leads Lisa Ozier, by four votes, 1392 to 1388.
State Senate District 54 Republican Nomination: Steve McClure defeated Donald Debolt 60 to 39%.
U.S. Senate Race Update: Democrat Tammy Duckworth ran unopposed. Their were seven Republican candidates on the ticket. With 86% of the vote counted, Kathy Salvi defeated Peggy Hubbard, 30% to 24% of the vote. Salvi will face Duckworth in November.
Attorney General Race Update: With 72% of the vote counted, Thomas Devore leads with 43% of the vote, followed by Steve Kim with 34% and David Shestokas with 21% of the vote. The Republican nominee will face Democrat, Kwame Rauol who ran unopposed.
Secretary of State Race Update: 71% of the vote has been counted in the state, Republican Dan Brady has won the nomination. For the Democrat nomination, Alexi Giannoulias defeated Anna Valencia 52% to 34% of the vote.
Neoga CUSD #3 proposition to issue $3,500,000 school building bonds. All the precincts are reporting, and it appears the proposition has passed. With 64% of the precincts reporting the no votes lead the yes votes, 73% to 27%.
Sullivan CUSD 300 proposition to issue $25,000,000 school building bonds. With 100% of the precincts reporting the yes votes lead 62% to 38%.
Cumberland County Sheriff Republican Nomination Final: With 100% of the precincts reporting, Steve Maroon has 82% of the vote to Larry Wicke’s 17% of the vote.
Fifth Judicial Circuit Judge Republican Nomination Final: 100% of the precincts reporting, Brian Bower has defeated Cara Honselman Shoaff.
Shelby County Treasurer Republican Nomination Final: 100% of the precincts reporting, Erica Firnhaber has defeated Missy Haynes.
Edgar County Sheriff Republican Nomination Final: 100% of the precincts reporting, Doug Cochran has 60% of the vote, and Roger Hopper 40%.
Coles County Sheriff Republican Nomination Final: With 44 of 44 precincts reporting, Kent Martin leads Stephen Spear 63% to 36%.
U. S. House District 15/Republican Nomination Final: Congressman Rodney Davis has issued a statement congratulating Congresswoman Mary Miller on her victory tonight. She will face Democrat, Paul Lange, who ran unopposed.
Governor Race/Republican Nomination Final: State Senator Darrin Bailey has won the Republican nomination for Governor and will face Governor Pritzker in November.
Governor Race/Democrat Nomination Final: Governor J.B. Pritzker has won the Democrat nomination for Governor.
