
First-Timer Lainey Wilson Leads CMA Awards
(Nashville, TN) — First-time nominee Lainey Wilson is leading this year’s Country Music Association Awards. The nominees were announced this morning for the 2022 CMA Awards and Wilson is up for six awards this year, including album of the year, female vocalist of the year and song of the year for her number one hit “Things a Man Oughta Know.” Wilson is only the fourth singer in CMA history to get six nominations her first time out, following Glen Campbell, Brad Paisley and Kacey Musgraves. The 56th Annual CMA Awards will air live November 9th from Nashville.
