
Alabama’ Co-Founder Jeff Cook Dead At 73
(Destin, FL) — Jeff Cook, one of the co-founders of the country band Alabama, is dead at the age of 73. Cook died on Monday at his home in Destin, Florida, according to a representative for the group. Cook was also a guitarist for the group, and is a member of both the Country Music Hall of Fame and Fiddlers Hall of Fame. The band won two Grammy’s and has sold over 80-million albums.
