* WHAT…Very cold wind chills as low as 10 to 20 below zero expected over central IL, and 20 to 24 below over Knox and Stark counties.
* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, and west central Illinois.
* WHEN…From 9 PM this evening to noon CST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS…The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 10 to 20 below zero could result in frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes at these temperatures.
*PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, scarf and gloves. Bring pets indoors and make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter with food and unfrozen water.
