Free Event for Families with Young Children
MCUSD2 Birth-3, Little Leaders Childcare lab, Franklin Preschool and Mattoon Public Library is a hosting a free event for families with young children. A concert with Jim Gill on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 5:30pm to 7pm, at Heritage Park (next to LIFT.) He is a musician and author with unique credentials among children’s artists. Jim’s books and recordings are a reflection of both his graduate studies in child development and his professional experience working with families with young children with special needs. We are also providing a free hot dog dinner for the first 500 who attend!
