Four people were arrested yesterday in Effingham on methamphetamine-related charges. According to the Effingham Police Department, 26-year-old Kristopher Mette, of Watson, 21-year-old Brendan Kemme, 19-year-old Melody Whalin, and 18-year-old Sierra Blankenship, all of Effingham faces charges of participation of meth manufacturing, possession of meth manufacturing materials, and methamphetamine conspiracy. Mette was also charged with possession of meth.
