Richard E. Drennan, age 78, of rural Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 11:10 A. M., Monday, December 24, 2018, at his residence. He was born May 23, 1940, the son of R. Irene Drennan. He was a Brick Mason for over fifty years with BAC Local #8, 55. Richard married Lois P. Mefford, June 16, 1959, in Carlyle, Illinois and Mrs. Drennan passed away September 23, 2014. Richard was member of the Toledo Masonic Lodge # 834 of Toledo, IL.
He leaves two sons, Bruce Drennan (Lila) of Manchester, TN and Michael Drennan (Becky) of Neoga, IL; three daughters, Patricia Ballinger (Steve) of Neoga, IL, Sue Ann Groover of Ft. Gibson, OK and Brenda Fryman (Tim) of Manchester, TN; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Mr. Drennan was preceded in death in death by his mother, Irene Drennan; wife, Lois Drennan; one daughter, Colleen Opal Drennan.
A family Memorial service will be held at a later date.
