State Farm Finds Buyer For Historic Bloomington Headquarters
(Bloomington, IL) — State Farm’s historic downtown Bloomington headquarters could have a new owner by the summer. The company yesterday said it has a purchase agreement with ‘an interested buyer,’ and they hope to close in a few months. State Farm left the building that was its headquarters in January of 2018. City leaders in Bloomington say it’s great news to hear that someone not only wants to buy the building, but has plans to turn it into office space and stores for downtown shoppers.
