Today, August 19, 2019, marks thirty years for Bub McCullough at 101.3 WMCI.
Bud Walters, owner of the Cromwell Group was here to thank Bub for thirty years. Bud also thanked Mattoon’s, Jeff Owens, who was the first employee of WMCI. Jeff and Bub both helped put the WMCI tower up back in 1989.
When Bub started at WMCI in 1989, he was on air during the afternoons. Within six months he moved to host the Yawn Patrol and Program Director of WMCI, he continues those positions today. Bub is also the production director for WMCI and sister stations, 104.3 the Party, 92.1 the Axe and Victory 103.9.
