Paris Health & Rehab Nurse Named One of the Top 20 Nurses of 2020 in National Competition
PARIS, ILL. (February 5, 2021) – Paris Health & Rehab Center, the 128-bed subacute and skilled nursing facility here, announces Brittany York, LPN, was named one of the “Top 20 Nurses of 2020” nationally by recruiting platform Apploi in its recent awards, opened to entries from throughout the country.
Apploi is a platform that connects job seekers with people looking to hire them. One of its specialties is in placing healthcare professionals.
York’s entry noted, “Every family member that calls about their loved one on North Hall asks for Brittany – not only because she is always working, but they know that she is 100 percent involved with their care and knows what is going on with each of them at any given time. She puts in countless hours. (Plus), for every (resident) birthday in her hall, you will see doors adorned with cards, posters and well wishes” from Brittany.
“We are very proud of the great work Brittany has done for our residents,” said Alicia Wilson, the center’s Executive Director. “She is a top performer and excellent nurse, and is deeply involved in our residents’ day-to-day care. Brittany works with a terrific nursing team and they are doing fantastic work caring for and comforting our residents.”
York has been a nurse for four years and began working at Paris Health & Rehab in 2014. “This is a great honor, and one that I also credit my nursing colleagues with,” York said. “We did an amazing job working together during the pandemic and that teamwork continues. Our entire team went above and beyond because our residents are like family to us.”
