Wynonna Judd still gets nervous during live performances.
The singer took to Instagram Thursday (November 9th) to address fans who were concerned to see her gripping Jelly Roll during their performance of his hit, “Need To Know” at Wednesday (November 8th) night’s CMA Awards.
She said in a video, “I’m just gonna come clean with y’all: I was so freaking nervous. I got out there, and I looked at Jelly Roll; I wanted it to be so good for him. I could cry right now, but I’m not going to, because I’m such a fan of his, and he asked me to sing and I said absolutely. I got out there and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life.”
The “No One Else On Earth” singer told Billboard post-performance that Jelly was so eager to get her to Nashville for the show that he sent a private plane so that she wouldn’t miss her Back to Wy Tour stops in Texas.
