The Effingham County Humane Society is hosting a giant garage sale this Friday through Sunday (6/1-3) at the old Funkhouser School, west of Effingham. Sale hours are noon to 6:00 on Friday; 9-4 on Saturday; and noon to 3:00 on Sunday. Money raised will be used for the care and upkeep of the pets that are waiting for their fur-ever homes.
